The Experience

At the heart of our wedding cake design lies your special day. Your cake is a reflection of you, capturing details of your wedding. From meticulously crafted sugar flowers mirroring your floral arrangements to carefully chosen colours that harmonise or stand out, we strive to create an exquisite wedding cake that will leave you and your guests in awe.

  1. Get in touch via our contact form or if you prefer you can contact us directly on info@cakedaydreams.co.uk
  2. We will ask you to tell us a little about your day and your ideas, or if you prefer we can simply send you a brochure.
  3. A discovery call is available if you prefer to chat about your ideas.
  4. Once you have decided we are the cake designer for you, then a booking fee of £100 secures you in our diary.  The balance will be due one month before your wedding day.   Then the fun begins, you will receive a taster box if you have chosen to have a zoom consultation, or you will come to the Cake Daydreams kitchen and have your cake tasting appointment in person.  I am also able to meet you at your wedding venue for your cake consultation  if that suits you better with wedding planning.
  5. After our consultation we will follow up with a range of sketches and your final costs based on our discussions.
  6. Relax safe in the knowledge your wedding cake is in expert hands and will be delivered, set up and left looking breathtaking for your important day.
Investment Guide

All our iced wedding cakes are created bespoke, therefore due to the personalised nature of our cakes we are unable to provide a final quote until after a consultation.

However, the following details should offer some insight for budgeting purposes

Guideline prices are :

  • Large single tier cakes - price dependent on portion size required.
  • 3 tier iced cake – serving 75 – starts at £700– with an average investment between £800 and  £980+
  • 4 tier iced cake – serving 110 – starts at £850– with an average investment between £950 and £1200+.
  • 5 tier iced cake – serving 200 – starts at £1300– with an average investment between £1300 and £1800+.
  • For 6 tiers and above, please contact us for bespoke pricing.

 

Tiered cakes - Each tier is approximately 7 inches high, comprising 4 layers of cake and 3 layers of buttercream and preserve, enclosed in Belgian white chocolate ganache beneath a delicate layer of luxury Swiss sugarpaste.

The average investment is based on a cake with some sugar flower details.  We are always happy to advise what is possible with the cake budget you have in mind.

Buttercream and semi naked cakes

Our buttercream and semi naked cakes are 4 layers of sponge, layered with buttercream and preserve.  During Spring and Summer seasons your buttercream cake will also have a layer of white chocolate ganache to ensure its stability. 

These prices do not include flowers which you would source from your florist but we would place on your cake on the day of set up.  We do charge a nominal fresh flower preparation fee to ensure your flowers are food safe, and we will discuss toxicity of flowers used with you / your florist before your wedding day.
