At the heart of our wedding cake design lies your special day. Your cake is a reflection of you, capturing details of your wedding. From meticulously crafted sugar flowers mirroring your floral arrangements to carefully chosen colours that harmonise or stand out, we strive to create an exquisite wedding cake that will leave you and your guests in awe.
- Begin by completing our enquiry form or contacting us directly at info@cakedaydreams.co.uk
- We will invite you to share details about your wedding day including venue, guest numbers and overall styling. If you prefer, we are happy to send our brochure for you to explore first
- A discovery call is available should you wish to discuss your ideas in more detail
- Once you decide to secure your date, a booking fee of £100 confirms your place in our diary. The remaining balance is due one month prior to your wedding. Once your date is secured, if required we arrange your design consultation. You may choose a tasting box delivered to your home for a virtual consultation, visit the Cake Daydreams kitchen in person, or meet at your wedding venue if this is more convenient (please note that for cakes under £500 a tasting box is charged at £37 and only a virtual consultation is available)
- Every wedding cake design is bespoke, therefore after a detailed consultation you will be provided with a full proposal outlining our discussion and a selection of personal cake sketches.
- With every detail confirmed, your wedding cake will be delivered and styled on the day with care and precision, leaving you free to enjoy your celebration
All our iced wedding cakes are created bespoke, therefore due to the personalised nature of our cakes we are unable to provide a final quote until after a consultation.
However, the following details should offer some insight for budgeting purposes
Guideline prices are :
- Large single tier cakes - including rectangle/long and round cakes - please request our price list
- 2 tier iced cake - serving 36 - start at £500 - a Cake Daydreams couple spend on average between £600 and £800+
- 3 tier iced cake – serving 75 – starts at £800 – a Cake Daydreams couple spend on average between £890 and £990+
- 4 tier iced cake – serving 110 – starts at £930– a Cake Daydreams couple spend on average between £990 and £1290+.
- 5 tier iced cake – serving 200 – starts at £1350– a Cake Daydreams couple spend on average between £1400 and £1800+.
- For 6 tiers and above, please contact us for bespoke pricing.
Tiered cakes - Each tier is approximately 7 inches high, comprising 4 layers of cake and 3 layers of buttercream and preserve, enclosed in Belgian white chocolate ganache beneath a delicate layer of luxury Swiss sugarpaste.
The average investment is based on a cake with some sugar flower details. We are always happy to advise what is possible with the cake budget you have in mind.
Delivery and set up will be calculated for your venue and specific cake.
Buttercream and semi naked cakes
Our buttercream and semi naked cakes are 4 layers of sponge, layered with buttercream and preserve. During Spring and Summer seasons your buttercream cake will also have a layer of white chocolate ganache to ensure its stability.
These prices do not include flowers which you would source from your florist but we would place on your cake on the day of set up. We do charge a nominal fresh flower preparation fee to ensure your flowers are food safe, and we will discuss toxicity of flowers used with you / your florist before your wedding day.
